The Willows restaurant in Moiliili will be closing for renovations in 2019.
A manager at the popular buffet restaurant said today that staff recently was informed of the closure, which is scheduled for Jan. 1.
The manager said that it is not yet known when the restaurant will reopen.
The adjoining sister restaurant Karai Crab also will close.
Founded in 1944, the Willows was renovated and reopened in 1999 after being closed for several years.
