Kalanianaole Highway reopens near Lanai Lookout
UPDATE: 3 p.m.
All lanes of Kalanianaole Highway are open near the Lanai Lookout after an earlier landslide.
State Department of Transportation Officials said a crew completed rock scaling work to stabilize the area and reopened the roadway to traffic at approximately 2:50 p.m. today.

Kalanianaole Highway is closed in both directions a quarter-mile east of Lanai Lookout due to landslide just before 1 p.m. today, the state Department of Transportation said.
A crew is on the way, DOT officials said.

All lanes of Kamehameha Highway at Waikane Valley Road have been reopened following flooding earlier.

Kamehameha Highway at Waikane Valley Road is closed in both directions due to flooding, police said shortly before 11 a.m.
