Broken water main forces Hilo elementary school to close

A nearby water main break forced the closure of Waiakeawaena Elementary School in Hilo on Thursday morning.
The break left the area between Kilauea Avenue and Kinoole and Palai and Haihai streets with low water pressure, according to the Department of Water Supply.
