Maui Divers Jewelry has opened a 450-square-foot store at Ko Olina Station, it’s first in West Oahu, the retailer said in a news release Tuesday.
Maui Divers, founded in 1959, has more than 30 shops in Hawaii.
ON THE MOVE
AHL, one of the oldest and largest architectural firms in Hawaii, has announced five new members of the firm:
>> Sarah West is the firm’s newest designer, working on high-rise residential and retail projects. West was previously a designer at PiP Architecture in Cambridge, England.
>> Megumi Thomas has also been hired as a designer. Some of her recent projects include Hawaii Pacific Health Medical Clinic in Aiea and Ka Makana Alii. Thomas was previously a designer at Leo A. Daly.
>> Marisa Saito is AHL’s newest junior interior designer. She will help develop space planning and create interior design concepts. Saito was previously a junior interior designer at Next Design.
>> Lukas Kaplan was hired as a senior technical designer. He will assist with the planning, coordination and development of construction drawings. Kaplan was previously a designer at VergesRome Architects in New Orleans.
>> Douglas Cheung is the firm’s newest senior job captain. He will provide technical coordination as well as drafting production support on the Mandarin Oriental Honolulu. Cheung was previously working at Gensler, CannonDesign and Elkus Manfredi Architects.
