Gail Atwater created this lei with partner Bronwen Welch for the Na Pua Alii flower show in 2009. Made of 12 different plants, including succulents such as common houseleek plus pua kenikeni and rabbit’s foot fern, it won first place in the Lei Ola, Lei Alii category and Garden Club of America Best in Show for Horticulture.
