Now the attacks start: adults weighing in on how the Parkland high school students had adult help with a slanted agenda that politicized the event.
All I can say is: Yes. It was absolutely politicized, because the slanted Congress will never voluntarily give up its blood money from the National Rifle Association.
These kids can easily Google or Bing to find out the proper ways to hold a parade in Washington, D.C., or anywhere else. They can access websites to request permits, contact police, emergency services, park services and more. They launched their goals worldwide and killed it in ways that us old folks thought could never happen.
I would heartily pass the baton over to them, to instill a new morality in our perverted Congress and presidency. Single-issue voting will drive out bigwigs who think they are safe, because the young voters in the midterm elections are estimated to be more than 9 million.
Get on board, Republicans, or get out of the way.

NRA generation a thing of the past
As I sat drinking my coffee and watching the news, I became riveted to my seat witnessing the youth of America rise up and demand a shift in the country’s political direction regarding gun control. What I was seeing was nothing short of the new pushing aside the old in a dramatic changing-of-the-guard ceremony.
The power of the National Rifle Association was being diminished before my eyes. They represent the old, promoting fear and grounded in a selfish sense of individual rights at all costs — a concept better suited for our pioneer ancestors.
Compared to the compassion, drive and unifying force displayed throughout the country by a new generation, it seems to me that the old is destined to circle its wagons and slowly fade into the past.

If Trump is clean, why all the lawyers?
President Donald Trump’s legal team is in shambles. Who would want to defend this president, who says and does what he wants?
Never have we had a president that has admonished or criticized so many people in or out of his own administration via tweets. Why is he allowed to attack our FBI and our justice system, when these are independent institutions?
Republicans and Democrats need to stand up and do what’s right for our nation, which is why they were elected. If Trump is clean, why won’t he sit down with Special Counsel Robert Mueller and end these speculations?
This has been ongoing since he took office and there is no end in sight. Why does he need to hire so many lawyers if he isn’t guilty of anything? This also goes for others located in the White House who are hiring their own lawyers. The swamp got cleaned, all right, but it was refilled with manure.
