Clint Holmes and Earl Turner hit it out of the park in “Soundtrack, Your Songs, Our Stories, The Show” at the Westgate Resort.
They are two of the best tenors working today in Las Vegas. Holmes is a two-time Grammy nominee and his friend Turner create a magnificent return to those glory days of Las Vegas. They’ve joined forces with a band backing a 90-minute presentation of hits. They begin with “The Boys are Back in Town” followed by “Lovely Day/Just the Two of Us.” “On Broadway/Uptown Funk” is an example of yesterday’s music meshed with a song of today, both of which they sing in style. The brilliant, seasoned singers still have the showmanship and moves to dominate the stage.
It’s a five-star show from start to finish.
Terry Fator, who plays at the Mirage nightly, recently held a media night to introduce his two new puppets — Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney. The music legends joined the lineup to mark Fator’s 9th anniversary for his show “Terry Fator Tonight.”
He treated the audience to a medley of Jackson’s greatest hits. Fator showed off his ambidextrous puppeteering skills when he performs with both McCartney and Jackson in a duet. Siegfried and Roy and Criss Angel were in the audience for this special night on Monday.
Still in the show are Vikki the Cougar, Winston the Turtle, Elvis impersonator Maynard Tompkins, Fernando V. Francisco, Emma Taylor, Sir Elton John, President Donald Trump and many more. Fator’s skills earned him the designation Best Strip Entertainer by Las Vegas Weekly in 2017 and Best Comedian and Best Family Friendly Show by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
