The American Red Cross is assisting the couple.
The fire broke out at about 1:10 a.m. Firefighters, upon arrival, found the two-store residence on Wawae Place fully engulfed in flames.
The fire is thought to have originated on the first floor, but the cause remains under investigation.
The fire was brought under control at about 2:20 a.m., but fire officials remained until 7:40 a.m.
