The HiSAM x MORI Gallery Shop inside the Hawaii State Art Museum held its First Friday art reception on Jan. 5 for “Stone and Sea,” an exhibit featuring photographs by Franco Salmoiraghi and Mark Kushimi, pictured, and sculpture by Nick Bleecker and Kamran Samimi.

The event drew a record-setting audience, with more than 750 in attendance, said HiSAM x MORI owner Lisa Shiroma.

On Feb. 2, HiSAM x Mori hosts a reception for exhibit “Transfer,” with works by members of Honolulu Printmakers, celebrating its 90th anniversary.
