French multimedia artist Stefane Perraud collaborated with writer, photographer and philosopher Aram Kebabdjian on “Isotopia,” creating dramatic multimedia images linked with a fictional, nuclear power-affected Pacific space.
The gallery exhibit includes projected light, three-dimensional figures, prints and engravings. One print, “Werner,” refers to Werner Heisenberg, known for his work on atomic theory.
“My research is the nuclear spectrum: touching that which would be the sign or form of the nuclear effect by imagining a radiant body, a material live, mutant and bombarded with isotopes,” Perraud writes in his artist’s statement.
