Tanya Demattia has been promoted to regional manager at Longs Drugs/CVS Health.
She was previously a district manager, a position she held since 2014.
Born and raised in Michigan, Demattia, 50, graduated with a pharmacy degree from Ferris State University and worked at the VA hospital in Detroit for six years before joining CVS in 2001. She became a pharmacy manager in 2003 and a pharmacy supervisor in 2005 before moving to Hawaii in 2013.
She replaces Harold Morse, former general manager since 2004, who moved to the Washington, D.C., region.
Hilton Waikiki Beach offers virtual tour
Potential guests of Hilton Waikiki Beach now can get a virtual reality experience of the hotel.
The 360-degree video tour is available for viewing on desktop computers, as well as VR headsets. The property partnered with New York-based YouVisit to provide the technology.
Tours are available in English, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. To view, guests may visit the hotel’s website at hiltonwaikikibeach.com. Apple and Android phone users also can search “Hilton Waikiki Beach” to download the mobile app in iTunes or Google Play.
