Escape the summer heat and boredom with an array of free and $1 movies being offered across Oahu.
Local theaters showcase family midweek movies for just $1. Public libraries and the Kids First! Film Festival at the University of Hawaii at Manoa offer an afternoon escape for free. “Moana” fans can get their fix with several screenings, including a sing-along at the Waianae Public Library on Thursday.
Or catch a flick under a blanket of stars at Waimea Valley and the Ward Village Courtyard. All movies are rated G or PG unless otherwise stated.
