“She brought out the best in me,” Lee said. “I have had some time to work (on the striking) because I haven’t fought in a while, so it feels really great. It feels like I’m back home here in this ONE Championship cage.”
Lee, a Mililani High School graduate and a former state wrestling champion, won the first two rounds on her feet rocking Huang with strikes and winning most of the exchanges.
Lee notched her first takedown in the third round and quickly took Huang’s back.
She managed to pin Huang’s left arm behind her back and landed a round of unanswered punches to the face to force a helpless Huang to tap out.
