The latest Korean blockbuster “Fabricated City” was released Friday at Consolidated Theatres Pearlridge 16. Directed by Kwang-hyun Park (“Welcome to Dongmakgol”), the film is an action crime thriller starring Chang-wook Ji, Eun-kyung Shim and Jae-hong Ahn.

Ji plays Yoo Kwon, an unemployed top online multiplayer gamer who is framed for the rape and murder of a high school girl. With the help of his two friends, who are also gamers and computer hackers, he tries to clear his name by finding the truth.

This film was released in South Korea on Feb. 9.

THIS WEEK’S SYNOPSES

“Perfect Bride” (Episodes 31 and 32)

>> Today, 6:30 p.m.: Bong proposes to Ki-ja. She is overwhelmed by the proposal. Gab-dol asks Gab-soon to give him one week to get his mother’s permission. Ki-ja tells Joong-nyun she’d never approve of their children’s marriage, while demeaning Gab-soon. Joong-nyun goes off on Ki-ja and puts down Gab-dol.

>> Today, 7:45 p.m.: Ki-ja is frustrated at seeing Gab-dol getting drunk daily over the break up with Gab-soon. She goes to see Gab-dol’s colleague, Young-ran, to feel her out. Gab-soon reconfirms her resolve to push ahead with her cleaning business and asks Ha-soo to invest.

“Innocent Defendant” (Episodes 4 and 5)

>> Monday, 7:45 p.m.: Chul-shik, wanting to find out about what he’s seen, makes a proposition to Jung-woo. Joon-hyuk tells Eun-hye that Jung-woo might be lying about his memory loss, which bewilders her. Meanwhile, Jung-woo tells Tae-soo that he remembers where he buried Ha-yun.

>> Tuesday, 7:45 p.m.: Jung-woo is forced to see the brutal gang when Chul-shik asks for a cigarette. Tae-soo heads for the mountain in search of Ha-yun. Min-ho starts the fencing match, hiding his aichmophobia (fear of sharp objects) as Dong-yoon watches.

“Saimdang, Memoir of Colors” (Episodes 5 and 6)

>> Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: As Saimdang prepares to move to Hanyang, she returns the ink from Ming and the Keumkangsando painting to Yi Gyum. Yi Gyum gets furious upon receiving the items and bolts from his matrimonial ceremony.

>> Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: Yi Gyum presses Saimdang about her marriage to Yi Won-soo some 20 years ago, but she turns her back on him coldly. Yi Gyum suffers in agony, but upon seeing Saimdang’s happy face as she cares for her children, he picks up a brush again.

“Happy Home” (Episodes 34 and 35)

>> Friday, 7:45 p.m.: Upon hearing Hyun-ki’s resignation, Gyeong-ok takes it out on Hae-ryung, accusing her of ruining his life. Sook-nyo sees this and reacts violently to Gyeong-ok. Hae-ryung asks Hyun-ki to leave, but he doesn’t budge, saying he’ll leave when he’s done with his task.

>> Saturday, 7:45 p.m.: Gyeong-ok is furious at seeing Hyun-ki and Hae-ryung together. She yells at the top of her lungs, accusing Hae-ryung of ruining Hyun-ki’s life. Kang-min tells Hae-won that he’s not searching for the child. Hae-won decides to start a relationship with Kang-min.
