“Brady Bunch” cast member Susan Olsen appeared at ABC’s 50th Anniversary Celebration in Los Angeles in March 2003. LA Talk Radio said Olsen was fired after she got into an online confrontation with openly gay actor Leon Acord-Whiting.

LOS ANGELES >> A Los Angeles radio station says former “Brady Bunch” star Susan Olsen has been fired after she got into an online confrontation with openly gay actor Leon Acord-Whiting.

LA Talk Radio announced on Friday that it will not tolerate hateful speech and that it has severed ties with the host.

Us Weekly reports Acord-Whiting criticized the co-host of “Two Chicks Talkin’ Politics” after he was a guest on the show on Dec. 7.

Olsen, who played Cindy Brady in the TV show, posted on her Facebook page that Acord-Whiting blocked her “before I could even get one hit in.”

Acord-Whiting later posted a screenshot of a Facebook message he says Olsen sent to him. In the screenshot, Olsen appears to call the actor an offensive term for gay men.

    This is not news.

Libs are against “hate speech” unless it them doing the hating. Just a lame attempt to enforce PC BS and limit free speech. This kind of stuff won’t survive long after January 20th.

    • PoiDoggy says:

@bumbai, you read what she actually said. It’s beyond the pale; really awful stuff. I googled around and found this transcription: “Hey there little [censored], let me get my big boy pants on and Reallly take you on!!! What a snake in the grass you are you lying piece of [censored] too cowardly to confront me in real life so you do it on Facebook. You are the biggest [censored] [censored] in the world the biggest [censored]! My [censored] is bigger than yours Which ain’t sayin much! What a true piece of [censored] you are! Lying [censored]! I hope you meet your karma SLOWLY AND PAINFULLY.”

She put this in a facebook message. This is nothing to do with being “PC.” It’s the rantings of someone who apparently never matured beyond junior high school. Maybe she was drunk?

And how is this limiting free speech? You can say whatever you want; don’t get all huffy when you find out words have consequences.

If I employed someone who talked that way, I’d fire them. Heck, I guess I have done that; told employees to tone down the vulgarity or else. When they didn’t — bye bye! That was fun.

Mr. Trump, of course, will have no effect whatever on what thinking people find hateful or offensive. Mr. Trump is able to give voice to imbeciles and white supremacists, but thankfully, they remain a minority.

If you think that anything is going to change in this regard on January 20th, you are even slower than your comments suggest.

      • BuhByeAloha says:

January 20th klasstri, makrk it on the calendar. Trump might just deport you.

      • justmyview371 says:

What does this have to do with Trump, other than you want to criticize him. Klastri has to harp on politics no matter what!

        • laeboy says:

        • WaldoSong says:

Umm…read the original post that klastri is replying to again. Trump’s name is not mentioned but anyone with a reasonable level of intelligence can deduce what the OP is talking about. You just exposed yourself.

If “bumbai” has half a brain she might be dangerous. Both of these women are pretty sick. Sorry to see that this kind of stuff is still around.

Gay people are supposed to be happy!

    • Ronin006 says:

Gay people surly are happy. After all,the Holiday season is coming and many people are signing Deck the Halls with the lyrics gay people love – “Don we now our gay apparel, Fa la la, la la la, la la la.”

is this story really on your home page??? give me a break

  5. HanabataDays says:

Let’s see Drumpf do something about that!

  6. latenightroach says:

I bet she wouldn’t have gotten fired for burning a flag though, which is an ACTION I find more offensive than any words, written or verbal. But that’s considered expressing free speech so it’s okay, right?

    • Ronin006 says:

You have this one right. Free speech is what liberals say it is. Liberals say stomping on, p-ing on, defecating on and burning the US flag is free speech; disrespecting the country by not standing for the National Anthem is free speech and so-called artists sticking a crucifix in a jar of urine is free speech, no matter how much others are offended by these actions. But if anyone says or does anything the least bit negative about gays, lesbians and transgenders, it no longer is considered free speech by liberals who instead label it as hate speech. The country is going to ..ell.
