Makaha man fatally shoots himself after argument with couple
A 26-year-old Makaha man shot and killed himself after arguing with two individuals on Tuesday night.
According to police, the victim was arguing with a 26-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man at a home on Hanalei Street just before 8 p.m.
The argument escalated and the suspect shot at one of the two individuals.
One round from his gun hit a neighboring house, which was occupied by a 29-year-old female and a 2-year-old boy.
The suspect then shot himself in the head and died at the scene, Emergency Medical Services reported.

Well what can I say. A few screws loose?
The StarAdvertiser’s reporting leaves much to be wondered about, most likely domestics

Many loose screws
So many self inflicted shootings lately. So many people have no value for their lives. Hard to understand. It’s SO permanent!
Suicide – a permanent solution to a temporary problem, but guess they can’t see past the immediate problem. Such a shame.
“Suicide: a permanent solution to a temporary problem” is an awfully, awfully trite aphorism and in some cases is patently untrue and downright insensitive. Please be aware that some human conditions have no good solutions, are not temporary, and do not have happy endings. Take progressive dementia, Alzheimer’s or stage 4 cancer as just three all too common examples. (Believe me, I know this all too well.) Suicide may not be a desirable outcome, but is often quite understandable much of the time.
This situation isn’t what you are referring to, which is “Death with Dignity.” For people with terminal illnesses, dementia, etc., it is more understandable. What fairgame was mentioning was all those people who are in a rut with relationships, jobs, money, etc. that are killing themselves when in a few months they would likely forget what was ailing them in the first place.
If someone needs mental help, find it. Otherwise, much of the time I agree. It is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
Used without due qualification it’s still trite and often uttered by reflex with little thought.
And, too, assisted suicide for “untreatable mental illness” as practiced in Belgium may one day be accepted here, if not commonplace. The foot is in the door.
Finally someone gets it right. Don’t shoot others.
someone stole his girl friend maybe
“I love you so much. I can’t live without you. This is how I prove my love to you.”….. BANG!
ya
