No injuries reported in Captain Cook house fire
Hawaii County firefighters responded to a fire at a single-family house Friday in Captain Cook.
The fire was reported at 1:59 a.m. at 85-4582 Mamalahoa Highway. Firefighters arrived at 2:05 a.m. to find a two-story house fully involved with the fire.
The firefighters extinguished the fire at 2:30 a.m.
According to the Hawaii County Fire Department, the neighbors said the owners were off island at the time and no one was in the house.
The cause has not yet been determined.
