Police are seeking witnesses to a June 30 accident at the Pali and Kamehameha highways where a 93-year-old Honolulu woman was killed.

Maria Artis died on July 8 from injuries she sustained as a passenger in a white Nissan Versa, which collided with a tan Toyota Camry on June 30 at Castle Junction.

Police said the Toyota was attempting to make a left turn from the Pali Highway to Kamehameha Highway.

The medical examiner said Artis died of blunt force injuries of the torso caused by the accident.
