Hawaiian Airlines to begin Kona-Haneda flights on Dec. 20
Hawaiian Airlines said today it has begun selling tickets for its inaugural service between Kona and Haneda International Airport in Tokyo that begins with a Dec. 20 departure from the Big Island.
The state’s largest carrier, which has been flying daily between Honolulu and Haneda since November 2010, received approval from the U.S. Department of Transportation in May to provide three times weekly service between Kona and Haneda and four times weekly service between Honolulu and Haneda. The Honolulu-Haneda service will start Dec. 21.
The DOT is still deciding which five of eight remaining applications from four other U.S. air carriers it will approve for daytime slots, and Hawaiian has urged the DOT to confirm its existing daily Honolulu-Haneda service be among them.

I hope the company pays their pilots a fair wage, or most of them will be leaving to better airlines.
I just want to know when the rumored flight from HNL to Singapore will start???
Heavily subsidized JAL cancelled its non-profitable Hadena-Kona flights. Why would un-susidized HAL want the route?
