Fire in Kailua-Kona warehouse under investigation
Hawaii County fire investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire that caused $200,00 worth of damages to an air conditioning warehouse and office in Kailua-Kona.
Firefighters responded at 9:13 a.m. Monday on Lawehana Street and was brought the flames under control at 9:45 a.m.
Firefighters returned to the scene at 8 p.m. when the fire apparently rekindled. They had the fire under control 8:37 p.m. The fire damaged the northern end of the warehouse, which contained an office.
