Police reopen H-1 westbound at Gulick Avenue

Police this morning have reopened all lanes of the H-1 westbound at Gulick Avenue after they conducted an investigation.

The closure occurred around 6:45 a.m. The freeway was reopened an hour later.

No additional details were immediately available.

    Only closed for an hour? Must have been a little fender-bender in the slow lane that was quickly pulled over out of the way.

      Even the little fender-benders take three or four hours. Remember, they have to get photos, interview people, etc. On the mainland, the road is cleared in fifteen minutes.

    Must have had some unhappy people who were trying to get to the airport.
