What a dumb “non” article. Doesn’t say a thing. Does someone really get paid for this?
The SA does this so often. You would think the “staff” that “reported” this could have picked up the phone to find out more. The people who helped Mr. Bennett after they found him in the water where he had been surfing didn’t know if he survived thanks to their efforts to resuscitate him. He was initially found in the water with a gash on his forehead. Maybe the reef, maybe the board. Several people did their best to get him to shore, and one of the catamarans also helped out. To the SA, it’s just another drowning. It would be nice for the community to know there was a major effort to save Mr. Bennett’s life.
God be with his soul
