Man stabs friend at Waipahu apartment complex
Police were looking for a 28-year-old man who stabbed his friend at an apartment complex this morning in Waipahu.
The suspect and the victim, a 38-year-old man, were drinking Friday night and got into an argument about 12:30 a.m. today in the 94-500 block of Farrington Highway. The younger man stabbed the other man with a sharp object in the left torso and fled, police said.
He remained at large this afternoon. The victim was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center in serious condition.
Police opened a second-degree attempted murder investigation.
