ATLANTA » A two-county car chase east of metro Atlanta ended with a sheriff’s deputy injured, two suspects shot and two more on the run.
The AJC.com reports that according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation at about 9 a.m. today, Rockdale County deputies responding to a burglary call in Conyers spotted a car matching the description of the suspects’ vehicle. A deputy attempted a traffic stop but the car drove off.
The suspects drove about four miles before slowing down to let two people jump out. As of Sunday evening they had not been apprehended.
