The inaugural meeting of a lupus support group is from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the 24/7 Danceforce studio at Windward Mall in Kaneohe.

Tracy Larrua, a public relations professional who has battled lupus since 1997, will host the support group. Individuals with lupus, fibromyalgia or similar conditions as well as their friends, family and colleagues are welcome to participate.

The monthly support group is expected to feature guest speakers throughout the year. The meeting is free, but participants are asked to donate $1 to $5 to help cover expenses. Complimentary snacks and water will be provided. The 24/7 Danceforce studio is on the first level of Windward Mall, 45-056 Kamehameha Highway in Kaneohe.
