Cece Pearl had 13 points and seven rebounds and Spencer Gray added 12 points off the bench as the Hawaii Pacific women’s basketball team beat Truman State (Mo.) 58-51 on Thursday in the Oahu Christmas Classic at Saint Francis School Gym.
The Sharks (6-4) won their fourth consecutive game.
Rachel Steinhoff scored 12 points for the Bulldogs (7-4).
>> Courtney Kaupu scored 20 points, but Chaminade fell to Southern Wesleyan (S.C.) 67-62 at St. Francis School Gym.
Kaupu shot 7-for-11 from the floor, including 5 of 5 from 3-point range for the Silverswords (3-4).
Taylor Vinson scored 13 points for the Warriors (4-5).
