ALA MOANA CENTER
Visit alamoanacenter.com for a lengthy roster of stores open during staggered hours today and Friday. Among "Thanksgetting Day" offers are staggered discounts at merchants such as Cinnamon Girl (30 percent off your entire purchase between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m.) and Flip Flop Shops (20 percent off one item or 25 percent off two or more items between 5 and 10 a.m.), and smaller discounts between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m.
Official mall hours for Black Friday are from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
DOWNTOWN HONOLULU
The business district will be home to the second "Downtown Shop Around," with more than 50 retailers opening their doors with special deals, trunk shows and unique gift ideas.
Doors open at 7 a.m. Friday, and planners have teamed with Uber.com to offer free or discounted rides into downtown Honolulu using the code DTSA15.
The event continues with a celebration of Shop Small Saturday, during which holiday shoppers are encouraged to shop at local boutiques. Merchants will move their sales online on Cyber Monday.

HUKILAU MARKETPLACE
This marketplace at the Polynesian Cultural Center will be open 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Black Friday with shops filled with goods for the whole family, from Tahitian pareos, pearl jewelry and housewares to skateboards and edibles.
Visit the new ukulele shop in the Mahinalani Store to enter a Black Friday giveaway of a Kala Brand Music Co. spruce-top tenor ukulele with mother-of-pearl fingerboard markers, valued at $520. The winner will be announced Dec. 5.

ISLANDWIDE CRAFTS AND FOOD EXPO
This 29th annual event takes place 4 to 9 p.m. Black Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Blaisdell Center.
Shop 400 of Hawaii’s top artisans and food vendors in one place, with gifts including baby products, housewares, jewelry and accessories, bags, clothing and pet products.
Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for military and 65 and older, and free for 12 and younger.

KAHALA MALL
Select stores open today are Jeans Warehouse (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.), Macy’s (from 6 p.m.), Ross and Tricked Out (6 p.m. to midnight), and Whole Foods Market (6 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
Then on Black Friday, breakfast is on the mall for early-bird shoppers who make a purchase of $350 or more in same-day receipts between 6 and 11 a.m. They will receive a $10 Kahala Mall gift card and a selection of breakfast items from Whole Foods Market and a complimentary cup of coffee from Starbucks, in the Center Court area of the mall starting at 8 a.m.
Doors officially open at 7 a.m. Friday, and select stores will open at 5 a.m. to give customers the opportunity to shop for doorbusters with savings of up to 75 percent.
