Grind Time: KONA BREWING BRINGS BIG ISLE TO OAHU
5. There’s no question Hawaii is in the middle of a beer boom, but some of the state’s bigger brewers serve their best stuff from taps outside Honolulu. Hula Grill Waikiki’s recent Farm-to-Table Beer Dinner featured limited-edition, small-batch experimental brews from Kona Brewing Company and gave Oahu beer drinkers an opportunity to get a taste. Read more about the meal — which used ingredients Hula Grill chef Matthew Young sourced from Hawaii island, like Kona kampachi, pictured — at honolulupulse.com/grind-time-kona-brewing-hula-grill.
