Man charged in alleged assault on police officer
Prosecutors charged a 26-year-old man for allegedly assaulting a police officer in Chinatown Wednesday morning.
Officers arrested Dominic Silga at about 9 a.m. Wednesday for allegedly assaulting a 33-year-old woman police officer on River Street.
He is charged with third-degree assault and first-degree assault on a law enforcement officer and was being held on $20,000 bail.
