Soldier killed in motorcycle crash identified
The medical examiner identified a soldier killed when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed in Wahiawa Friday morning.
Matthew Good, 29, died of multiple blunt force injuries, the medical examiner determined.
Good was speeding on Wilikina Drive Friday near Kamananui Road when he lost control of his motorcycle and hit a utility pole and then slid into a car driven by a 25-year-old man, police said.
Good was wearing a helmet, police said. He died at the scene.
The Army confirmed that Good was stationed at Schofield Barracks.
The incident marked Oahu’s 30th traffic death this year, compared with 34 at the same time a year ago.
