Hawaii island man charged in sexual assault
A Hawaii island man has been charged in an alleged sexual assault on a female minor.
Wendell Reed Santiago, 42, of Pahoa has been charged with first-degree sexual assault and promoting intoxicating liquor to a person under the age of 21.
The arrest and charges stemmed from an incident in Pahoa that police responded to at 4:10 a.m. Sunday, police said.
