At the 37th annual Francis I‘i Brown Team Champion Tournament Luau, tournament chairman Peter Fong, left, Waialae Country Club Director Miles Furutani, Melveen Leed and Kimo Kahoano gathered by a portrait of the famed Hawaii golfer before awards were presented May 16 at the club. The luau menu included everything from Hawaiian staples kalua pig and poi to opihi and pipikaula. Kahoano emceed the program and joined Leed during her stellar performance to harmonize on “Paniolo Country.”
