WINSTON : "I see a lot of problems. The thing that really worries me about him is his focus. He makes a lot of mistakes during the course of the game and tries to force things. … He’s a first-round talent. Physically, he’s a gifted passer. I like his mechanics."
MARIOTA: "To me he’s the best player in the draft. I don’t think there’s anything he can’t do. … Everybody’s making excuses he can’t do this, he can’t do that. The guy is such a great athlete, he can do anything he wants to do. The joke is the personality thing. The same thing occurred with (Andrew) Luck a couple years ago. Oh, Luck’s not an outgoing guy. Even (Stanford coach) David Shaw, I remember him saying ‘I wish Luck would assert more leadership.’ Well, you take a look at Luck, you take a look at Eli Manning. Do you want Jay Cutler or do you want this guy? You just tell this guy what to do and he does it. He doesn’t make a big deal about it. I think he’s the best quarterback since Luck."
PETTY: "He is one of the most accurate deep passers I have ever seen. I think he’s being overlooked because once again they say he’s a product of the system. Well, the National Football League is going to that system."

GURLEY: "He’s excellent. He’s like Adrian Peterson. He’s the whole package; he can run, he can catch, he can block. Only problem about him is the knee (he suffered an ACL tear in his left knee in November and hasn’t run a 40 for any teams). If I was running things and things were perfect health-wise, I’d take him in the first five picks."
GORDON: "I think he’s a very explosive player. … I don’t think he’s good as Todd. … Explosive runner, big-play ability, excellent speed, quickness, instincts, vision. The thing I didn’t like about him in the tapes I watched — I watched five games — he had four fumbles."

COLEMAN: "Real explosive. He’s more straight-line guy. He sees it and goes. Once he goes, they don’t catch him. Good pass blocker, effective short receiver. Not quick, nifty runner."
AJAYI: "(He’s) got really good strength and balance, breaks tackles, good power, good instincts … got really good hands, but he doesn’t particularly care about pass blocking."
JOHNSON: "Duke Johnson is good little player … short, quick, not explosive … limited pass blocking … strong, aggressive runner, good balance, tackle-break ability … a tough guy."

COOPER : "Cooper is really quick. He runs good routes, and he’s excellent after the catch. I’m not sure how strong he is. I don’t see him making some the catches that I see some of the rest of them do. The guy that I compare him to a little bit is (Bengals) A.J. Green (in) that he is really quick and can run after the catch. I thought he was the best after the catch. Put him in top 10 but not top five."
WHITE: "I thought he was the best (receiver). I thought he was a top-five pick … When I saw him, I said, ‘Wow, this is like an Andre Johnson.’ He can not only run, but he can jump, and catch and make all the traffic catches. He’s a good blocker. He’s really strong — 23 lifts at the Combine. He’s an excellent receiver at all levels, with big-play ability, I thought he had excellent hands, excellent hand-eye coordination. When that ball’s up, he comes down with it. He’s stronger than Cooper."
PARKER: "I like DeVante Parker, but I only gave him low-first-round grade. He’s very smooth. I don’t see the explosiveness. Now in his favor he missed the first seven games of the year because he had the broken foot. But I went back and watched last year. Big-play ability, not explosive. I question his top speed."
STRONG: "He’s an excellent player. He’s another one who has such deceptive speed. The guy I compared him to is (Larry) Fitzgerald. He’s so big and he’s so thick. The kind of balls they’re throwing today, the fades, the back-shoulder stuff, this guy’s sensational. I mean he can track the ball. He finds that ball. He times it. He can jump. He’s just impossible to cover."
PERRIMAN: "He’s a straight-line guy … got some stiffness to him. He’s not quick; he doesn’t run good routes. But the one thing that he can do in traffic, he can track the ball and catch it. And he has good hands."
DORSETT: "He’s a good little player. Excellent speed, quickness, hands. … makes big, big plays. Not a special returner or I would have given him a higher grade."
GREEN-BECKHAM: "He is another one that I went back and watched tape on him from Missouri. He was not their top receiver. … He’s raw; he’s a size-speed project. He’s got all kinds of problems, wow. (He has two marijuana-related arrests and allegedly pushed a woman who fell part of the way down a staircase.) I can’t believe people would even touch these guys."
SMITH: "Devin Smith is a vertical receiver. He doesn’t run routes, I don’t know if he can because they don’t ask him to. But he goes up the field and makes a lot of big catches."
AGHOLOR: "I really like him. … I don’t like his body … kind of a thin-framed guy. … He would be like Cooper, a good runner after the catch. He is very, very quick … he is a good returner and also gunner on their punt team."

PEAT : "The Stanford guy is my best offensive lineman because his upside is just great. He has great feet, great movement, he’s really an excellent pass protector. The only thing I didn’t like about him was his power. He’s not a real strong powerful person. But I think he can be in time. Reminds me of (the Cowboys’) Tyron Smith."
HUMPHRIES: "He was my second-best offensive line. I think he’s really a top athlete … right up there with T.J. Big-time blocker … only negative, he is more athletic than power blocker."
COLLINS: "Late first-rounder. He’s a really good athlete. He’s a zone guy. He’s not real strong, not real powerful. He gets pushed, but can anchor people. He is really quick, really good athlete, good second-level blocker … but he’s not a real powerful guy."
CLEMMINGS: "The only negative thing I have on him is (he’s a) right tackle. … (got) excellent strength, power, aggressiveness, excellent tenacity. This is one tough guy. He might be the best player of the group. He is the best combination of run blocker and pass blocker."
FLOWERS: "Flowers is powerful, but he’s not a good athlete … I thought he had to be a right tackle or guard … struggles on pass protection."
OGBUEHI: "He really has good feet, and he’s a good athlete … not real tough. He’s a project."

SCHERFF: "He’s an Iowa offensive lineman; they’re all same. They’re very, very well-coached. They’re smart, most have been there for five years. What you see is what you get. I think he’s a first-round guy, but I don’t think he’s a top-10 guy."
CANN: "He has the strength, but he’s got high pad level … Stalemate best, more of a pusher, gets pushed on pass blocking."
JACKSON: "Good athlete, good feet, good movement."
TOMLINSON: "Square, strong, has good anchor."
CENTER

ERVING: "Cameron Erving, I would move him back to tackle, but he’s excellent … (my) third-best offensive lineman. … He’s terrific as a center. … They moved him back when he played against Virginia and he totally dominated that Eli Harold guy who everybody has in the first round. Harold didn’t get off the line of scrimmage against him. He’s more an athlete-type guy than a power-type guy. … As a center he could be the best center in the league by far."
DEFENSIVE ENDS

Preston Smith, Mississippi State | 6-5 | 271 | 34 | 10 5/ 8 | 4.74 | 24 | 34.0 | 121 | 4.28 | 5.7 |
Nate Orchard, Utah | 6-3 | 250 | 33 1/4 | 10 1/ 8 | 4.80 | na | 31.5 | 115 | 4.43 | 5.6 |
WILLIAMS: Leonard Williams is my second-best player after Marcus. He can play 3 (technique, similar to DT in a 3-4 alignment). He can play 5. He’s just a talented guy & (He’s) alert, explosive with ability to dominate, excellent strength, power, more power pass rush guy. He’s the closest thing I’ve seen since to (Ndamukong) Suh. I don’t think he’s quite as powerful as Suh, but he’ s a bit quicker than Suh. Better pure athlete (than Suh).
RAY: Explosive pass rusher who fits best as a 3-4 defensive end. Reminds me of Von Miller but has better hips. Randy Gregory and Shane were the best pass rushers I saw this year.
ODIGHIZUWA: He is very talented, but he doesn’t finish & he’s explosive, he gets upfield well, he’s strong and whole thing. But for some reason he just doesn’t get sacks. Orchard: Nate Orchard is a guy you have to watch play (to appreciate). He is explosive, his workout does not show it.

Grady Jarrett, Clemson (nt) | 6-1 | 304 | 32 3/ 8 | 10 | 5.06 | 30 | 31.0 | *113 | 4.56 | 5.8 |
ARMISTEAD: Now the game that impressed me is the Ohio State game because he got physical in that game and actually took people and tossed them around. So if that’s him then you got a good player. But I did not think he had a good season. I think DeForest (Buckner from Punahou) was the best player of the two. Not sure what kind of motor this guy has. In the National Championship game, it looked like it revved up a little bit. But he kind of picks his spots.
SHELTON: He totally dominates. He’s big, he’s strong, plays hard & you just can’t block him, plays with good pad level, leverage. For a guy who can run a 5.6. he doesn’t play 5.6. The only problem I had with him was his weight. Most of the time guys who are fat, get fatter. I compare him to Vince Wilfork. Wherever he goes, he’ll be excellent.
BROWN: I like him. I think he’s a 3 technique. He’s quick, he’s active and he’s a good athlete & I think he’s got a chance to be really good.
GOLDMAN: (My) second-best defensive lineman. He’s really big, he’ s strong, he’s athletic. … can play nose, can play 3, excellent strength and power, strong hands to control single and double blocks. Active, alert. He dominates against the run.
PHILLIPS: He’s not a natural pass rusher, but he can take the center and push him back to the quarterback. He is a really big, really powerful person. You can’t block him.
BENNETT: He’s a more of a try-hard guy, best as a 3-technique … he’s alert, active, aggressive, excellent strength, power, good tackler, more disrupter than finisher.
DAVIS: Carl Davis is a really talented guy who’s lazy. & When he decides to play, he can totally dominate & (He’s) strong, controls the blocker, excellent strength, power, good athlete, more talented than he plays. Sometimes those guys don’t change. Most of them don’t.

DAWSON: He’s a tough, take-on guy, the only negative things I have about him are his height and 40 & he’s active, aggressive, instinctive. Plays much faster than 40 good shed, around balls, good breaks on balls. Excellent linebacker. & I don’t know if he’s as instinctive as (recently retired 49er Chris) Borland; he’ s probably stronger.
MCKINNEY: He’s a better space guy, he’s not a take-on guy. … When it comes to taking on blockers and such, he catches.
KENDRICKS: (He’s) a good player. Short, he’s not real physical. & He’s the kind of guy that’s playing in the NFL now because he’s a real good lateral player, better space-chase player than at point of attack. & He’s around the ball, around the pass. … probably better than his brother (Eagles LB Mychal).
ANTHONY: I really liked him. More of a block-avoid type. More an outside backer. He’s active, alert, good athlete, speed, quickness. He’s good in space, good feel for coverage. Good zone drop, break on ball. Can man up with tight end on the seam.
THOMPSON: I think he’s a running back. He’ s got no instincts (as a linebacker). He sits and catches (blockers); he can run and he has range and he has nice hands. Free safety? When you move a guy 10-12 yards off the ball the field gets awfully big back there. As a linebacker, he’s a catcher. He doesn’t step up, doesn’t take things on. He’ s not physical; he doesn’t have a big frame. But he’s an excellent athlete. … better athlete than player.
PERRYMAN: Perryman is strictly a box guy & I like the way he plays, very instinctive & he takes on people. & He has some problems because of his height getting off blocks. He’s a first and second down player. & The guy just makes plays.

FOWLER: Fowler I think can play down (lineman). Problem is he’s not a physical guy. Against the run, once they get their hands on him, they can push him. … Best as an edge pass rusher. … Excellent takeoff upfield, got speed, got a burst. Inconsistent effort.
BEASLEY: I’ve done him for two straight years now. I know his workouts is just fantastic. … More a disrupter than finisher. … Does have initial quickness and gets up the field well. But I really didn’t see any counter moves. & Strong with weights but not a strong, physical player.
GREGORY: I just think he’s excellent. He’s one of the guys that can play both up and down. He plays in space well. He’s probably the most natural pass rusher I saw. … Now, he’s had a lot of injury problems, too. He had a broken leg, broken wrist, had two failed drug tests at Nebraska. But he is a top player. He’s alert, active, aggressive, excellent athlete, excellent pass rush ability with explosion, multiple moves. He’s got a burst, quick hands. I think one team will draft him high.
DUPREE: He’s best as a rusher. & I don’t see him make plays and in space; he’s real stiff. harold: Has pass-rush ability. & He strictly plays on the line of scrimmage. Good athlete, does have speed, mobility. … gets pushed around, gives ground at the point of attack.
KIKAHA: He’s a 3-4 guy. He’s stiff. He’s gonna have a rough time playing in space; he’s an excellent technician. He’s not explosive, but he just has a good feel. He uses hands well, he can get off blocks. He’s very smooth. He finishes and makes plays.

WAYNES: He’s not physical and I don’t think he’s as good as (last year’s No. 1 pick from Michigan State Darqueze) Dennard. & Alert, aggressive, good athletic ability, speed & best against press. … I didn’ t see the 4.2-something speed.
COLLINS: I don’t like him, he’s stiff. He has to gather in order to change direction because he’s stiff, he has to wheel (around instead of planting and changing directions). He wheels all the time. When a guy wheels, he loses a step.
DARBY: I think he’s a good player. & He can run, he can jump. & He can do all that stuff. But where (teammate) P.J. (Williams) makes the plays, this guy’s the one that gets beat.
JOHNSON: I like what I saw, watched four tapes, alert, aggressive, adequate strength, tackler, excellent athlete, quickness, movement, body control, good man and zone, good feet, loose hips, excellent change direction. To me, he’s much better than Waynes.
PETERS: He has problems with authority, and coaching. He’s talented, not as good as he thinks he is. Inconsistent effort, needs to be more physicial, both in cover and tackle. … He’s alert; he’s got good one-on-one cover ability. Good athletic ability.
WILLIAMS: I really liked him. Plays well off and that’s tougher to play than press. I gave him a late first (round grade).
JONES: I really liked him & watched him last year against (Blake) Bortles and (Teddy) Bridgewater and he was by far the best corner that I saw. You can see by the way he can run and jump. He doesn’t get much attention because of where he plays. … Alert, aggressive, good support, strong, he’s a good tackler. I really thought he was a top corner.
EKPRE-OLOMU: He’s just excellent & if he’s 6 feet tall and he’s not hurt, the guy would be the best corner. Only thing that I can see deficit is his height. He can cover, he can tackle, he’s always around the ball, he returns punt, he’ s a gunner. He just got a tough break.

COLLINS: I think he’s excellent. I think he’s the best safety I’ve seen in a long time & I gave him a top-10 pick. He’s much better than the guy that came out of there last year (Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, who was drafted 21st overall by Green Bay) this guy is really, to me, a top player. The guy weighs 228 pounds, too. Nothing negative. Alert, aggressive, effective in box, in space, strong, excellent tackler, breaks down, looks to strip, hitter, power, speed, quickness, 4.43 at 228. Good hands & he’s a gunner on the punt team, the first guy down.
