Prosecutors charged a 28-year-old Aiea man with stealing his grandmother’s (tutu’s) jewelry last year.
Police said the man lives with his grandmother and confessed to his mother that he took his grandmother’s jewelry Oct. 21 to Dec. 13. He also confessed to selling the jewelry to different jewelry shops and pawnshops, police said.
Police arrested Jonathan Biven on Monday. He was charged Wednesday with second-degree theft. Bail was set at $15,000.
