Arriving Hawaii County firefighters found the one-story home near Holualoa School engulfed in flames in 76-5000 block of Old Mamalahoa Highway at 2:10 a.m.
Family members told firefighters that two people were still in the home. But fire crews were unable to enter the burning building, where the walls and ceilings had collapsed.
