‘Swords men hit century mark
@Body text1:Junior guard Kevin Hu scored a career-high 35 points to lead six Chaminade players in double-digit scoring as the Silverswords snapped a two-game losing streak with a 105-73 win over Holy Names in a PacWest men’s basketball game in Oakland, Calif.
Hu added 11 rebounds for his first career double-double. Kuany Kuany also had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds for Chaminade (7-9, 4-6 PacWest).
Dante Robinson led the Hawks (3-16, 1-10) with 15 points.

» In Oakland, Calif., Pablo Coro scored 13 points and Jordan Stone grabbed 17 rebounds as No. 19 Brigham Young-Hawaii rolled over Academy of Art 88-49.
Daniel Berger added 11 points and Scott Friel 10 for the Seasiders (15-2, 9-2) against the Urban Knights (4-13, 2-9).
» In Belmont, Calif., Justin Long scored 18 points and Luke Hager added a double-double as Hawaii Pacific topped Notre Dame de Namur 60-53.
Hager finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Sharks (13-6, 8-4) against the Argos (4-14, 3-9).
» In Fresno, Calif., Vandyon Lockett scored 31 points, hitting the game-clinching free throws with three seconds left, as Hawaii Hilo held off Fresno Pacific 88-85.
Tre Johnson added 25 points and 16 rebounds for the Vulcans (9-8, 5-6) against the Sunbirds (5-12, 1-9).
Record night for HPU women
Morganne Comstock hit a program-record 15 field goals and Kylie Huerta set a Hawaii Pacific single-season assist mark as the Sharks overwhelmed Notre Dame de Namur 80-64 in a PacWest women’s basketball game in Belmont, Calif.
Comstock finished with 36 points to go with 13 rebounds for conference leader HPU (17-2, 12-0 PacWest), winner of eight straight. Huerta had eight assists to give her 134, passing the 130 by Taiyande Huskey (2011-12).

» In San Francisco, senior guard Brydgette Tatupu-Leopoldo scored 19 points, including two game-clinching free throws with nine seconds left, to give Brigham Young-Hawaii its seventh consecutive victory, a 72-68 win over Academy of Art.
Megan Goodman had a career-high 12 points on four 3-pointers for the Seasiders (12-5, 9-2) over the Urban Knights (11-8, 6-5).
» In Fresno, Calif., Kirstie Williams scored 13 points, hitting two free throws with 24 seconds left to give Hawaii Hilo a 60-58 win Fresno Pacific.
Hayley Reynolds added 12 points for the Vulcans (7-8, 6-5) against the Sunbirds (2-13, 2-8).
» In Oakland, Calif., junior guard Shana Kawakami posted her first career double-double with career highs of 19 points and 10 rebounds to help Chaminade to a 65-54 win over Holy Names.
Kristle Henry added 15 points, including three 3-pointers, for the Silverswords (3-11, 3-7) against the Hawks (2-17, 1-10).
Hawaii men’s tennis team tops Pacific
Nils Schuhmann won the deciding singles match as the University of Hawaii men’s tennis team beat Pacific 4-3 on Saturday at the UH Tennis Complex.
Schuhmann beat Miguel Diaz 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 at No. 1 singles.
The Rainbow Warriors’ Kai Wehnelt defeated Sem Verbeek 7-5, 6-3, and Joakim Pinola beat Marion Brand 6-4, 6-3.
Wehnelt and Marcel Chan, and Chas Okamoto and Felix Albert won doubles matches as Hawaii took the doubles points.
The Rainbow Warriors improved to 1-1 and the Tigers dropped to 0-3.
