Holiday out 2-to-4 weeks; Bryant, Price and Davis return
NEW ORLEANS >> The Pelicans say guard Jrue Holiday has been diagnosed with a stress reaction in his right leg and will be sidelined two to four weeks.
Holiday has missed New Orleans’ past four games with pain and swelling. The injury is similar to one that required surgery and sidelined Holiday most of last season, but Monty Williams says it’s not clear that the new injury is related.
While Holiday’s absence will be extended, Anthony Davis is returning from a sprained toe on his left foot for Wednesday night’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Guards Kobe Bryant and Ronnie Price are returning for the Lakers.
Davis has missed three games.
Bryant was rested for the Lakers’ past two games and Price missed two games with elbow soreness.
