Paraglider who crashed at Kaena Point is identified
The medical examiner identified a paraglider who was killed in a crash at Kaena Point on Jan. 15.
Clayton Butler, 30, of Salt Lake City, Utah, died of blunt force injuries to his torso, the medical examiner said.
The case is classified as an accident.
Butler fell about 50 feet, Emergency Medical Services said. He was conscious when bystanders got to him, but CPR was performed after he became unresponsive. Paramedics took him in critical condition to a hospital, where he died.
