University of Hawaii Rainbow Wahine's Connie Morris is fouled by University of California Riverside Highlander's Jaelyn Wilson in the first half of a Big West women's basketball game at the Stan Sheriff Center on Saturday, January 17, 2015.

Junior guard Destiny King scored 17 points and senior guard Ashleigh Karaitiana added 15  to lead Hawaii to a 69-58 victory over UC Riverside in a Big West women’s basketball game Saturday evening at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Senior guard Shawna-Lei Kuehu added 11 points for the Rainbow Wahine (9-7, 1-2 Big West). Karaitiana and King both missed double-doubles when finishing with nine rebounds each for Hawaii, which snapped its two-game losing streak when picking up their first conference win.

Big West scoring leader Brittany Crain led the Highlanders (10-7, 1-2) with 18 points, well off her 23.9-point scoring average. The senior guard scored over 30 points in her past two games.

It was 15th straight conference road loss for UCR dating back to 20-13.
