‘Pregnant man’ pleads not guilty to stalking charge
PHOENIX >> A transgender man in Arizona who gave birth after beginning to change from female to male has pleaded not guilty accused of stalking his estranged wife.
A Maricopa County Superior Court spokeswoman says Thomas Trace Beatie, a former Hawaii resident, entered the plea Thursday to one count of stalking.
Phoenix police said after Beatie was arrested that the victim had found a GPS tracking device under her car Sept. 15 and reported it to authorities.
Charging documents identified the victim as Beatie’s spouse.
