Ward Village’s Summit Fest celebrating the arts, cultures and ideas of Hawaii kicks off at 7 p.m. Friday with a cocktail reception.

The three-day event, which aims to highlight Hawaii as an innovation hub for the Asia-Pacific region, will feature a broad range of speakers, entrepreneurs, musicians and artists, including Native Hawaiian artist Solomon Enos, educator Micah Hiro­kawa, archaeologist Terry Hunt and fashion designer Kini Zamora. Performers include Lucie and the Perfect Wave, Tavana, Quadraphonix and international poet Iyeoka Ivie Oko­awo.
