Ward Village’s Summit Fest celebrating the arts, cultures and ideas of Hawaii kicks off at 7 p.m. Friday with a cocktail reception.
The three-day event, which aims to highlight Hawaii as an innovation hub for the Asia-Pacific region, will feature a broad range of speakers, entrepreneurs, musicians and artists, including Native Hawaiian artist Solomon Enos, educator Micah Hirokawa, archaeologist Terry Hunt and fashion designer Kini Zamora. Performers include Lucie and the Perfect Wave, Tavana, Quadraphonix and international poet Iyeoka Ivie Okoawo.
