Work on Hawaii Kai water main break to last into Friday morning
The Board of Water Supply said Thursday night that repairs to a water main break in Hawaii Kai is expected to continue overnight and into Friday morning.
Thirteen customers were without water. A water wagon was made available in the area as an alternate source of water.
The break was reported 4:15 p.m. at 839 Kaluanui St., causing the street to be shut down between Kahuwai Place and Kaipuhaa Place.
Motorists were advised to use Kaahue Street while repairs were made.
