C.S. Wo & Sons Ltd. is opening a new division focused on urban lifestyle home furnishings that will appeal to design-savvy customers.

The new division, Red Knot, will debut Aug. 30 at two Oahu locations. One store will be at 702 S. Beretania St. in Honolulu and feature a 9,000-square-foot showroom. The other store will be at 98-107 Kamehameha Highway in Aiea and offer a 7,900-foot showroom.

C.S. Wo, which was founded in 1909, said Red Knot’s furniture will be suited for condominiums and homes built in urban and metropolitan Honolulu.

"Red Knot will feature an array of well-designed, affordable home furnishings and accessories that will change frequently to encourage clients to visit often and to find creative inspiration to make their living spaces an expression of their personal aesthetics," C.S. Wo said. "Our buyers attend U.S. and international markets, seeking out the latest designs, styles, colors, fabrics and finishes, all at very affordable prices. Most everyone in Hawaii is on a budget (and) our basic cost of living demands that we be value-conscious."

Parent company C.S. Wo & Sons Ltd. also operates other furniture stores throughout Hawaii, including C.S. Wo, HomeWorld Furniture, SlumberWorld and Ashley Furniture Home Store.
