Two men seriously injured in separate late-night accidents on Oahu

Two men were taken to the hospital in serious condition following two separate accidents around midnight Thursday, according to city Emergency Medical Services officials.

The first auto accident occurred at 11:49 p.m. Thursday when a 21-year-old man rolled his truck on the Moanalua Freeway near Red Hill. Paramedics treated him at the scene and took him to the hospital by ambulance.

Another paramedic crew was called to North Cane street in Wahiawa to treat a 21-year-old male moped driver at 12:10 p.m. The moped driver also was hospitalized with injuries described as serious.
