Woman in serious condition after nearly drowning in Ala Wai
A 63-year-old woman is in serious condition after almost drowning in the Ala Wai Canal Saturday afternoon, Emergency Medical Services said.
The woman was sleeping on the wall of the Ala Wai Canal near McCully St. and rolled off into the water around 1:37 p.m., EMS said.
Bystanders pulled her out of the water and EMS transported her to the hospital.
