Take paint from nails to walls 

If you’re the matchy-matchy type, you will be overjoyed to find Ace Hardware and OPI have teamed up to introduce the OPI Color Palette by Clark+Kensington. The new color palette brings 18 of OPI’s most iconic colors to life as paint, so you can bring the colors you love on your nails onto the walls in your home.

The new color palette launched in more than 3,200 Ace Hardware stores nationwide last month.

The collections are:

>> "The Artist": Geared toward the original, inspired, spirited and charming. Featuring OPI’s "Keeping Suzi at Bay," "Miami Beet," "Don’t Touch My Tutu!" "Gargantuan Green Grape," "Samoan Sand" and "I Eat Mainely Lobster."

>> "The Wild Heart": For the fresh, daring, dynamic and chic, features "Can’t Find My Czechbook," "Black Onyx," "My Pointe Exactly," "Do You Lilac It?" "Suzi Says Feng Shui" and "Vant to Bite My Neck?"

>> "The Romantic": For the sophisticated, confident, iconic and glam, offers "OPI Red," "Nein! Nein! Nein!" "OK Fine!" "My Very First Knockwurst," "Chick Flick Cherry," "My Vampire is Buff" and "Over the Taupe."

Each collection includes five Clark+Kensington color pairings to give homeowners more inspiration and options.

Master art of floral displays 

J’Adore Floral Designs is celebrating its second anniversary with a floral design class running 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

The event will feature food, fun and floral creations. Participants will take home an arrangement of their own creation, as well as a better understanding of how to create unique floral displays for special occasions and as an everyday mood enhancer at home.
