Liam and Olivia jumped six spots from 2012 to become the most popular baby names in Hawaii for 2013, the Social Security Administration said on Thursday.

Mason is the second-most popular name for boys in Hawaii. Noah, the top name in the U.S., is third, followed by Ethan and Logan.

For girls, Sophia, the most popular name in the nation, was second in Hawaii. Third is Ava, followed by Emma and Mia.

Kai is the most popular Hawaiian language name for boys. It ranks 19th in the state. Malia is the most popular Hawaiian name for girls and ranked 21st.
