The group worked on a problem during practice after school on Wednesday at their McCully-Moiliili campus. Washington Middle for three straight years has come in first place in the statewide MATHCOUNTS competition, beating the likes of ‘Iolani and Punahou schools. “Our kids are the best. I give credit to them,” says coach Sung Park.
