Police find missing Kailua-Kona boy at friend’s house
Hawaii County police have found a 7-year-old Kailua-Kona boy at the home of a friend in Kalaoa after he was reported missing following school Wednesday.
Alexander Kaiser was determined to be safe at a friend’s home and was returned to his parents, police said.
Kona patrol officers said they got a 3 p.m. call from Holualoa Elementary School that the boy did not arrive home after catching the school bus.
Police issued a call for help from the public in locating the child, and issued a notification that he had been found at 5:50 p.m.
