Dot-com entrepreneur and ‘Iolani graduate Guy Kawasaki will be the keynote speaker at the grand opening of the Sullivan Center of Innovation and Leadership.
The 6 p.m. dedication will be followed by tours of the $23 million, four-story building featuring cutting-edge design technology and the newest in science and computer labs.
Due to space limitations, only those with special passes will be able to view the program from within the Sullivan Center. However, the event will be live-streamed across the courtyard at Seto Hall for those who want to attend.
The "chief evangelist" of Apple, Kawasaki spearheaded the marketing of Apple in the 1980s. The 1972 graduate of ‘Iolani also co-founded Garage Technology Ventures and Alltop.com and currently serves as special adviser to the Motorola business unit of Google.
